I have been …
I have been watching a lot of TV gospels . I think sometimes it’s good to listen to you on TV because you inspire and motivate people. why you always only teach about good gospel, inspirational pospel only? I think that God truly wants you to be a true prophet by focusing more on the sins that people have done.always defense people. Otherwise I truly think that God will judge you.

I thank God and …
I thank God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the Angels of God for having my eyes opened to warn me of preachers like this one. I feel sorry for his congregation that they keep their eyes closed, but I pray that one day they will open their Bibles and read it without circumventing scriptures to suit their own desires. May God forgive them and bless them with wisdom before it is too late.

I agree 100% with you. I’m trying to figure out what to do with the half truth they know. In Acts 17:22-31, when Paul passed the statue with the inscription “To the unknown God.” The first words out of his mouth were “Men of Athens, I percieve that in all things you are very religious.” (half truth). He concludes with “Truly these times of ignorance God overlooked but now commands all men everywhere to repent.” (whole truth). If I could learn to deliver like this I would be very happy.

But thats one of the problems with Joel Osteen, all gives is a positive message,Sometimes we need to be reminded that we are dirt stinking sinners and unless we are covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ we are on our way to . In Ecclesiastes 3 :8 the bible says “A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” why is he only giving the love part? half of the truth is a lie.

Joel Olsteen gives …
Joel Olsteen gives a pretty positive message. The gospel is the good news and it is full of hope, love and inspiration. One of my favorite lessons is in Luke 6:51-56 when Jesus, James and John come to a town and the town rejects Jesus. Then the 2 discipes say “Do you want us to call down fire from heaven like Elijah?” Jesus answered them and said Luke 9:56 “The Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” Maybe we need to quit calling down fire and start teaching love.

I am the pastor of …
I am the pastor of a small church and I am for sure not in it for the money. I get paid just enough to fill my gas tank. Joel Osteen and his wife would not be in it if it was not for the money. Me and my wife help with the maintenance and she does most of the cleaning and janitorial work and she gets paid NOTHING for it.
I doubt you would ever find Victoria Osteen on her hands and knees scrubbing a toilet. There is often more to doing the Lord’s work than writing books!
